Job Summary
The technical consultant proposes technical or organizational solutions to a client company. He or she has a thorough knowledge of this company, the business activities it carries out, its products, and technological developments.
Position challenges
The consultant's intervention is structured around three main stages. First, they analyze the existing system, establish a diagnosis, and clarify the client's expectations and needs. Next, they propose the solution(s) best suited to the client company's specific challenges. This requires expertise in the latest technological developments (IT, software, multimedia, web) and a thorough understanding of the company's operations. Finally, they support the implementation of system modifications and train the company's internal team on the new system. They also prepare working documents, specifications, reports, and maintain ongoing technological monitoring.

- Technical support for clients
- Relationship with partners (hosting provider, equipment supplier, etc.)
Activities and tasks
- Technical monitoring of clients
- Managing relationships with partners (hosting provider, equipment supplier, etc.)
- User configuration on Windows servers and on the GALION ERP in graphical mode
- Configuring LDPRX environments
- Installation and configuration of LDPRX keys at client sites
- Print queue management and configuration (outQ)
- Implementation and management of backup procedures at client sites
- Incident ticket handling (ticketing)
- Setting up graphic menus, radio menus and PRMS 00242 turntables
- Transfer of customer data from the GALION ERP database to the SaaS version
- Deployment and updating of existing GALION solutions
- Upgrading clients to the new versions of GALION
- GALION model configuration
- Formatting customer reports (invoices, delivery notes, labels, etc.) using VLDP software
- Testing and validation of newly developed modules
- BI Provider configuration and incident resolution
- Research and proposal of equipment to replace existing equipment
Job profile
Training
Bac + 5 / Engineering school (final year of studies).
Professional experience
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
